Self love is a pre-requisite to being able to have or establish any healthy relationship outside of ourselves. Throwing everything you’ve got at hopes for a relationship or marriage without doing the work to love YOU, will ALWAYS end in disappointment.

For context let’s also address the fact that self love is NOT about taking yourself on spa dates and fancy dinners. It’s about loving who you are ALONE, being courageous enough to face yourself and pursue healing in any area(s) necessary, it’s valuing yourself enough to recognize that not everyone deserves a “seat at your table”. This year make a commitment to taking care of yourself. Love yourself! Heal! You’re worth it! 💛
