Our monthly volunteer mentor highlight features Garet Kuecher, U.S. Army veteran, finance professional at JPMorganChase and MBA student at The Ohio State University. Garet shares his "why" for serving as a Mentor with our program:

"I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of transitioning into college and finding my footing after graduation. I also watched a very close friend struggle through his transition without the support structure he needed, and he is unfortunately no longer with us...there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about him. His experience showed me how critical mentorship, guidance, and community truly are during life’s biggest transitions. That’s why this mission matters so deeply to me because the right support at the right time can change the trajectory of someone’s life."
