⛏️ Guided Fossil Hunt Postponed Due to Weather ⛈️

Unfortunately, due to the weather forecast, our Guided Fossil Hunt has been postponed.

📍 Ladonia Fossil Park – 170 Park Rd., Ladonia, TX

A few tips from our guide, Lewis, to help you prepare:

💧 Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.

🎒 Bring something sturdy to carry your fossil treasures home in. A backpack or f***y pack works great—plastic bags tend to tear easily.

👕 Expect to get wet and muddy! Wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

🚗 You may want to bring a change of clothes or a towel/seat cover for the ride home.

👟 Lewis recommends wearing old sneakers with laces rather than boots. Boots often get stuck in the mud, while lace-up shoes tend to stay on your feet better in the creek bed.

🚻 Please note: There are no restroom facilities at the fossil park, so plan accordingly before arriving.

These events are free and open to all ages. Whether you're a budding paleontologist or just curious about the ancient creatures that once roamed our region, you won't want to miss these prehistoric adventures!
