✨️NEW Lightning Lane Premiere Pass will launch at Walt Disney World on October 30th✨️

Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be offered in very limited quantities and will give guests one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day. This includes attractions included in both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, but with Lightning Lane Premier Pass, guests do not need to select an experience time. Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be a premium offering, and prices will vary based on the date and theme park guests are visiting.

At Walt Disney World, when Lightning Lane Premier Pass launches, it will be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts and may be purchased up to seven days in advance of their stay. It will only be valid for use in one park of the guest’s choice per day. The first date it will be available is October 30, 2024.

Since we have our first major hurricane of the season already, let's talk about how your travel plans can be impacted:

✅Check the Terms and Conditions for changes and cancellations before you book, and specifically if they have hurricane policies.
✅If you travel from June - November in the Caribbean or anywhere in the US where a hurricane could make landfall or related impacts, think about what you would do if you weren't able to keep your plans.
✅If you have airfare booked, are your flights refundable or changeable?
📍Add insurance well in advance if you're booking non-refundable components (resort, air, tours). Most insurance options can't be added to your trip once a storm has a name.

Are you already thinking about Spring Break or summer trips for 2024 and beyond?

Here's why I recommend planning early:

⏱Frustrated when you can't find availability at your favorite resort 6 months out from your travel dates? Most people who travel to certain destinations regularly book those a year in advance to guarantee the dates and room they want. Cruises can typically see a drastic decrease in availability, limiting the cabin types you can book, very soon after opening bookings for some sailings.

🔒Lock-in pricing now. Some resorts and cruise lines will increase rates due to demand when they're mostly sold out.

💸Placing your deposit now and traveling in 2024 means you'll have longer to make payments. Most destinations only require a small deposit to book, with payoff 30-45 days before check-in.

Does this just apply to Walt Disney World? Absolutely not! This is across all destinations.
