Every time! ✨😅

Whooooooo chile!! Whe had a time last night!!! Not really. But ever so thankful for a great day and night nurse that advocated on their end and protected momma yesterday. EXTREMELY proud of my client. She is a legit bad ass and didn’t let the people tell her what to do. She surprised everyone (except those that continent to believe in her) and did it her way. Honored to be on her birth team. I had to process it with @worldbetween.worlds this morning. Is it like this all the time?? She said yes. 😳😓 DAMN!!!! It was exhausting. I DO NOT miss working on the floor, fighting and rationalizing with people that should know better. I realized how special the space I created: San Antonio Nurse Midwife Birth and Wellness Center really is!!! Wowzers. And yes I know there is a time and place for the hospital. And yes I am very very thankful resources and educated staff are there to offer help. So thankful. What surprises me that has not changed in the decade I’ve been out of the hospital is the fear. So much fear. Anyhoo rant over, where is my Motrin and muscle relaxer?!?
