“Teaching Youth about Nature with PLT”

• Earn 5.5 hours professional development credit and become a Project
Learning Tree certified teacher.
• Engage in a hands-on workshop for both formal and nonformal educators.
• Investigate environmental topics with indoor and outdoor activities.
• Receive PLT’s K-8 Environmental Education Activity Guide, correlated to
national and state academic standards (or equivalent, if you have this one).

Two Locations and Date Options!

Friday, April 4th at Squam Lakes Science Center, Holderness, NH

Friday, April 11th at Beaver Brook Association, Hollis, NH

9 am to 3 pm each day.
Lunch included. $15 registration, scholarships available.
Come ready to do activities outside! Workshops are partially sponsored by a grant from Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
