TWICE by poses the beguiling question: what if it was possible to do things twice, to have a do-over when you mess things up. What a gift this might be, in so many ways - but there’s a cost too, especially when it comes to love.

HEART THE LOVER by : a love triangle and how the decisions of youth reverberate through the years. Gorgeous observation and writing.

BROKEN COUNTRY by : set in the English countryside - another love triangle, this time between the thrill of a first love that resurfaces and the gentle, steady kindness of a faithful man.

THE NAMES by : Adored this one, especially the clever structure: one child, followed through three iterations of his life and how it might have turned out differently if he’d been given a different name.

ATMOSPHERE by : A powerful gay love story between two stunning, ambitious, female astronauts - propulsive and suspenseful (the space part, the adventure, the crisis) but also achingly romantic.
