This year's visit heavily features a new addition to the tour, a Curtiss TP40N Warhawk. Also shown is a Boeing HH-46E "Vertol", which belongs to the Vietnam Helicopters Museum, of Concord, CA.

I was drawn to receive a free flight ($450 Value) on a fully restored Boeing B17G "Flying Fortress". It was "Old 909", owned and operated by the Colling's Foundation and the centerpiece of their annual "Wings of Freedom Tour". It was a thrill of a lifetime to actually get to fly on one of these old warbirds. Odin knows I've loved them forever, lol.

We had about 78% coverage at our location. 37.95° latitude. Very typical "Faugust" morning, for the SF Bay Area, though.
