✅ FACT: Colon Hydrotherapy introduces water into the colon, and the colon naturally absorbs water as part of its normal function.
Colon Hydrotherapy, also sometimes known as a colon cleanse, often gets lumped into the claim that colon cleanses cause dehydration. However, Colon Hydrotherapy works very differently than many of the popular colon cleanse supplements taken orally.
Many of the other colon cleanses and stimulant laxatives work by drawing water into the colon to stimulate rapid bowel movements. This can sometimes contribute to dehydration if fluids aren't adequately replaced.
But Colon Hydrotherapy uses warm, purified water introduced into the colon, where the colon naturally absorbs water as part of its normal function. The water also helps soften stool and stimulate peristalsis, supporting the body's natural elimination process in a gentle way.
