Split Racing

We are off and racing in St. Louis! Gerry's first pass was a quick 6.055ET at 238.51MPH which placed him 17th at the end of Q1. The second pass of qualifying was a littler quicker, 6.015ET at 240.85MPH but with other fast qualifiers, this time puts us 19th. One more round of qualifying at 1pm CST followed by eliminations this afternoon.

Split Racing competed in their third NHRA US Nationals this past weekend. This weekend also marked the first time the team ran their new car, a 1969 Jerry Bickel Camaro. While the team did not qualify for the fastest ProMod field in NHRA history, there was great progress made on the new ride!
