Exotic Animals Rescue

Well I have not posted in awhile.
We have been steadily growing. The cold and the rain is is not damping our rescue. We are working hard to help anyone needing it.
The only thing that puzzles me is I get a lot of calls wanting me to pick up dogs or cats. Or do I have any for adoption. To help we do not nor can we help with dogs or cats. I’m never mad or mean to these kind people who call. After all they are trying to help a animal. But I’m firm telling them we just don’t do that.
What do we take in? Exotic animals, this can include hamsters, guinea pigs to lemurs and reptiles. Anything not a dog or cat. We have a great working relationship with animal control. If you call them wanting to surrender anything they don’t handle.... ie exotic animals they have you call us. We respond fairly quickly. We do ask that you bring the animal to us. Cages and supplies are welcome and in some cases required.
We do not take in venomous reptiles. We do not take in wildlife. But we try to direct you to someone who can take in these animals.
We have a wonderful group of people we network with. If I don’t have room at that time one of our people will step up and home them. But we will not turn you away.
