New Hampshire HBA Provides Free Home Renovations for Local Veterans With the mission of giving back and ensuring veterans across the state have a better quality of life, the New Hampshire Home Builders Association (NHHBA) created the Builders Care NH Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping those in need.

HELPING AND HONORING OUR VETERANS:
The first program of the Builders Care NH Foundation is the Hammers for Veterans Auction.
New Hampshire veterans make up more than 10% of the state’s population. The number of veterans with disabilities is also growing.
Over one-third of service members who have returned from Iraq and Afghanistan suffer from some form of mental health disability including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), many have traumatic brain injuries, and others return with significant physical disabilities.
