Hey friends, I’m reaching out to ask you to support integrity and unity in Conroe's leadership by voting for Todd Yancey, Susan Johnson and Curt Maddux.
The current political climate in Conroe is troubling. Campaigns led by Duke C**n and his allies are full of mudslinging, misinformation, fear-mongering, and outright deceit.
First, Duke C**n and Shana Arthur filed a lawsuit to remove Todd Yancey and Curt Maddux from the ballots.
Next, their voting bloc worked to make it as difficult as possible for people to get to the polls, effectively disenfranchising voters.
Now, they are misleading voters about campaign contributions, falsely portraying Todd and Curt as "sell-outs." And still hiding behind the bold face lie that Duke had nothing to do with the Hyatt hotel.
HERE ARE THE FACTS: This is public record—please reference the city council meeting minutes. You will find that Duke voted “yes” for the hotel 8 TIMES before his 1 “no” vote, and then returned to vote “yes” another 8 times. Duke voted “yes” for the hotel 16 times!
Now, when it comes to the campaign contribution efforts, ask yourself, “Why are Duke and his allies trying to personally buy these seats?”
Most people find it strange that the opposition is willing to spend over $100K of their own money for a job that pays $45K per year. Anyone with common sense would ask, “who is paying Duke C**n and Shana Arthur?”
Despite their attempts to secure endorsements from the firefighters, police, Houston Association of Realtors and Greater Houston Builders Association, it was Todd Yancey, Susan Johnson, and Curt Maddux who received their support and their endorsements.
The Yancey family has been part of Conroe since the early 1900s. Todd Yancey has chosen to stay, raise his family, and build a business in Conroe because of his loyalty TO CONROE— not because of any outside interest.
Todd Yancey is the most faithful, respectable, and stand-up guy you’ll ever meet. I’m not surprised that he has support from far and wide. In fact, it makes me more compelled to believe in his vision.
Todd Yancey stands apart as the only candidate for Mayor who will avoid partisanship, refrain from vindictive behavior, and genuinely unite our city.
Vote for integrity and unity. You can early vote Thursday and Friday, June 6th and 7th or Monday and Tuesday, June 10th and 11th. Election Day is Saturday, June 15th.
