Wednesday's Science Day was a glowing success!

Campers started the day by testing different materials to discover which particles glow under black light. Then we put a fun twist on Heads Up, 7 Up by secretly “spreading germs” and discovering just how quickly they travel—and who was really washing their hands well! Finishing off the morning by growing our own “bacteria” in petri dishes.

After lunch and recess, our young scientists created glow-in-the-dark Martians and designed protective houses to shield them from Earth’s UV rays. We wrapped up the day by making our own bubble wands and filling the air with glowing bubbles!
