A mother snake generally gives birth to about eight to 10 of the critters, so if you find one, officials warn that there are others around. Baby Copperheads look like worms so make sure you look BEFORE you pick up!!! Best way to know if its a baby Copperhead is to look at the tail. They have a bright yellow tail. Make your kids aware!
