You are all being told to stay home. Some industries are deemed "essential services". The automotive repair industry is one of them. Most automotive technicians work on a flat rate pay system. That means they get paid ONLY for what they do in repairs. If they are NOT working on a car, they are not being paid, thus going to work for nothing.
Now would be the perfect time to get your vehicle in for maintenance or repairs that you have been putting off. Many shops are not going to be real busy, because people are not going out.
Now would be the perfect time to get your car ready for when all of this passes & you can take that trip you just had to postpone. At the same time, you are helping another family put dinner on the table.
We can all get through this if we all work together.
Call your favorite Shop/Service Center. Help a neighbor out!
P.S. if you are worried about driving to the shop most of them will come get your car and bring it back to you.
