We have exciting news for the community. Local Gourmet Catering is under new ownership and is being re-branded to ESSEN Catering. Mitchell and Jill Janszen- a husband and wife team- are the new owners. They're so excited to be a part of the community and do what they do best: feed people!

Mitch Janszen grew up in The Woodlands before moving to Austin, TX for culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu. He and Jill met in culinary school and worked for Austin's top catering companies- learning everything there is about the industry.

With years of experience in the catering and hospitality industry, they have the skills and knowledge to create custom menus and execute seamless events. Anything from a wedding to a pop-up shindig at your house, they can do!

In addition to catering services, they also meal prep for families who want to enjoy healthier, homemade dinner options.
