From all of us at Montgomery County Food Bank, happy Fourth of July. On this Independence Day, may we honor the generations who built this country by taking care of the neighbors who share it with us 🍎

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday this weekend, we’re reflecting on one of the most meaningful moments so far this year.

Back in May, Montgomery County Food Bank received a truckload of donated food through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints JustServe America250 service initiative, providing more than 30,000 meals for our neighbors.

This is what America at its best looks like, and a fitting way to honor 250 years of it: neighbors serving neighbors, united by the belief that no one should go hungry 🇺🇸
