I thought it would be fun to post some of these very open, ambient tracks for others to jam over. I've included the appropriate scales for guitar, but these can work for any and all instruments! All sounds were created using AUM and AUv3 plugins within that app.

Ok friends, I have a non-political question based on a discussion with my friend and colleague Traye McCool this morning. We were talking about the enormous success of the Eagles (2nd highest selling album if you look at certified sales) and how so many people still listen to them, along with other great classic bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Pink Floyd, Journey and the list goes on. His question to me was what artists from today are a significant number of people going to still be listening to in 50 years? So, I'm passing that on to you, since this is the largest audience for polling that I have, and it's a pretty diverse group. My thoughts will be in the comments. What do you think? What artists that are currently on the Top 200 list, across all genres, will be as popular as bands like the ones listed above? Feel free to share so we get as much feedback as possible.

NOTE: I want this to be a friendly and open discussion like Traye and had this morning. Any nastiness or ugliness will just be deleted. I just think this will be a fun chance for a bunch of musicians and music-lovers to give predictions and opinions. I also hope that I can come back to this in 25 years and see if any of these artists are still around and popular.
