Conway's First Ladies

You don’t want to miss WEEK 2! Our speakers this week are Vickie Bailey McMichael and Jen Kendrick. Vickie and her husband, Joe have been at CFBC for two years. Born in Ft. Smith, Vickie attended college at Ole Miss and graduated from UCA with a Master of Education in Gifted and Talented. She has called Conway home for 37 years and during those years, she and her husband raised two daughters, Andrea Fournier and Laura Rettberg. Vickie served as a GT specialist at Ellen Smith, Julia Lee Moore, and finished her teaching career at Carl Stuart Middle School where she taught GT, Pre- AP Math and English. She loved being a classroom teacher for 28 years, had the privilege of working alongside amazing peers and developing friendships with her students, many of whom are members of this church. Vickie had the honor of being recognized as Teacher of the Year in 2005 and 2012. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking state and national parks, all things that can be planted and grown, and caring for two rescue donkeys, Esther and Lester. Jenifer Hill Kendrick was raised in Nashville, Arkansas but has proudly called Conway home since 1999. She has been an active member of First Baptist Church since moving to the community. She met her husband, Greg Kendrick, while attending Ouachita Baptist University, and together they are the proud parents of three children: Baker, Audrey, and Ellen.

Jenifer dedicated more than 25 years of her legal career to serving as an Attorney Ad Litem, advocating for the best interests of children and families. She currently serves as General Counsel for the Conway Development Corporation and the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce, providing legal counsel and strategic guidance that support economic development and business growth throughout the community.

Jenifer has invested more than 20 years in the children’s and youth ministries at First Baptist Church and currently serves as a small group leader for seventh-grade girls. In their free time, she and Greg enjoy traveling and spending as much quality time with their family that they can get!
