MONDAY MORNING ROADS: STILL SKETCHY

Following the weekend’s snow, many roads are still covered in ice.

If you need to travel today, we’re asking you to do some on as many cared-for, treated, primary roads as possible, as reports of the roads off the beaten path are still causing crashes.

No matter where you are: drive slowly, with full attention on the roadway ahead and looking out for your fellow drivers. Give extra space where you can.

Horry County is large, and just because the roads you’re seeing in your immediate area may appear clear, doesn’t mean that’s the case all across our region.
