Among these is fresh, home-milled flour.
Why did I choose to mill my own? The health benefits are exponential!

Fresh milled flour preserves the essential vitamins, minerals, and proteins that the commercial milling process strips away.

When conventionally milled, the bran and germ of the whole grain is stripped away, leaving only the endosperm. While the endosperm is rich in carbohydrates, this process leaves the flour difficult for our bodies to digest without the necessary vitamins, minerals, and proteins found only in the bran and germ.
