In a recent event, renowned chef Gordon Ramsay referred to the Philippines as the "sleeping beauty" of Asian cuisine, even adding that "it could give Thailand a kick in the butt."
During the event, Ramsay also revealed plans to open several branches of his restaurant "Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill" in three locations across the country. He also hinted at the possibility of bringing his popular American reality cooking competition show, "Hell’s Kitchen," to the Philippines.
As part of the exclusive event, a mini ‘MasterChef challenge’ was held, with celebrity chef Judy Ann Santos, food influencer Ninong Ry, and culinary student Danica Lucero participating. Danica’s halo-halo dessert was chosen as the winner, earning her a signed jacket from Chef Ramsay as a reward.
