🍉☀️ Keep Summer Fun Safe with Smart Food Safety Tips! 🌭🧺Summer is the perfect time for cookouts, picnics, and family gatherings; but warm temperatures can also increase the risk of foodborne illness. A few simple steps can help keep everyone healthy!

🌡️ Summer Food Safety Tips:
🥩 Keep raw meat separate from ready-to-eat foods.
❄️ Refrigerate perishable foods within 2 hours (or within 1 hour if it's over 90°F outside).
🌡️ Use a food thermometer to make sure meats are cooked to a safe internal temperature.
🧼 Wash your hands, utensils, and cutting boards before and after handling food.
🧊 Keep cold foods cold by storing them in a cooler with plenty of ice.
💧 Wash fresh fruits and vegetables before serving.

A little extra care can help prevent foodborne illnesses and keep your summer celebrations focused on making memories, not recovering from illness.
