Thanks to Congressman French Hill for joining a group of Faulkner County leaders this morning for breakfast in Greenbrier. We especially appreciate Jason Bollinger for hosting us at his Huddle House restaurant. Congressman Hill not only does a great job for Arkansas, but his leadership on issues that come before the House Financial Services Committee, which he chairs, is important for the entire nation. He explained the intricacies of the housing bill now working its way through the U. S. House and Senate.

Congrats to my dear friend Sanford Tollette on his retirement from 50 years of service as the Executive Director of the Joseph Pfeifer Kiwanis Camp in Ferndale. Sanford has enhanced the lives of hundreds of kids in our community. Many of them joined us this evening to pay tribute to this amazing man who for over 50 years has been doing the Lord’s work.

Just to let folks know that some restaurants do welcome Governor Sanders. Thanks to Holly Hayes for her great food and wonderful hospitality. Also, her State Police security staff recommends Holly’s coconut pie. I appreciate the Governor coming to Conway to visit the Simulation Lab at Conway Regional Hospital, and for the official opening of the new Clayton Homes facility. Holly's country cookin
