Today we celebrate the fathers and father figures who lead with strength, wisdom, and love. Their impact reaches far beyond their own families and helps build stronger communities for future generations.

A special thank you to my dad for his unwavering support and the values he instilled in me. Happy Father’s Day!

It was an honor to join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island for their annual celebration recognizing the incredible mentors, donors, volunteers, and students who make a lasting difference in our communities.

The evening highlighted the achievements of graduating Littles as they prepare to continue their education through college and trade school programs, while also celebrating scholarship recipients and the dedicated Bigs who help guide them along the way.

I am proud to support the important work of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, including securing $250,000 in funding to help renovate their Islandia headquarters and expand opportunities for the young people and families they serve.

Congratulations to this year’s honorees, scholarship recipients, and graduating students. Your hard work, perseverance, and commitment to building a brighter future are truly inspiring. Thank you to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island for your continued investment in the next generation of leaders.

It was a pleasure to join the Central Islip Public Library for the grand reopening and ribbon cutting of its newly renovated space!

Libraries are more than places to borrow books, they are hubs of learning, creativity, and opportunity. That’s why I was proud to secure $100,000 to help create the library’s new Teen Tech Center, featuring 3D printers, sublimation equipment, gaming consoles, computers, and other innovative technology that will empower young people to explore, create, and develop valuable skills.

Congratulations to the library staff, board members, and community leaders who made this exciting project possible.

I look forward to seeing the next generation of innovators thrive in this incredible new space!

From securing major healthcare investments in Suffolk County to recognizing outstanding students, seniors, and community leaders, it was another meaningful week serving our district.

Highlights included celebrating funding for Long Island Select Healthcare’s expansion of accessible medical services, meeting with community advocates in Albany, supporting Suffolk County’s new gun violence prevention program through a $10,000 funding allocation through our office, honoring “Captain Kirk” Johnson as Senior of the Year, and congratulating the 2026 Irene Goodman Scholarship recipients.

Thank you to everyone working each day to strengthen our communities and create new opportunities across Long Island.
