Do you have an old roof you want to be replaced? Do you need storm damage roofing services? Could be just as simple as a small repair.

Mid-July is when Central Texas remembers it can rain sideways.
Five things to do this week before the next system rolls in:
1. Walk the perimeter — look up at the roof edges from the yard, not the curb. Lifted shingles show better from below.
2. Clear the downspouts — a single oak twig at the elbow turns a gutter into a swimming pool.
3. Check the attic after the first hard rain — dark stains on the decking mean water is already getting in.
4. Trim limbs that touch the roof — wind-driven branches strip shingles faster than hail does.
5. Save our number — (512) 540-4050. Storm response is 24/7.

Central Texas homeowners, settle a debate for us.
What is the ONE home repair you keep putting off, even though you know it is going to cost more the longer you wait?
Drop it in the comments. We will pick three and post a free, no-pitch explainer next week on exactly what we would do first.
No names, no DMs, no sales call. Just neighbors helping neighbors before the next storm rolls through.

What a $400 roof problem turns into if you wait a season:
→ 6 months: $400 patch
→ 12 months: $2,300 partial repair + insulation
→ 18 months: $8,400 partial replacement + drywall + paint
→ 24 months: full replacement + structural decking + mitigation
We see this exact escalation every fall after homeowners "wait and see" through spring storms.
This week we're still running complimentary virtual inspections. Send the photos. Free. No pitch. Then decide.

The whole job comes down to this seam.
Where a brick chimney meets new shingles is the place a roof either holds or fails. Step flashing has to be cut to length, bedded in roofing cement, woven through the courses, and counter-flashed into the mortar joint above. Skip a step and water finds it inside two seasons.
This is the part of the work nobody photographs and everyone depends on.
