Dear Prelaw Students and Aspiring Attorneys:
Just a heads up - if the LSAT prep course you are thinking about taking this summer or fall starts with a diagnostic exam to "establish a baseline," you are in the WRONG LSAT prep course. FULL STOP!
Assigning a practice test at the of beginning an LSAT prep course is as common as radiation in the groundwater at Chernobyl ... and almost as pernicious.
This is not my opinion. It is an inarguable fact borne out by decades of actual research on the efficacy of test prep programs.
Starting a course with a diagnostic exam is a waste of time, effort and money. Worse, that initial exam reveals absolutely nothing of consequence to you or your instructor.
A good LSAT prep program will delay diagnostic testing for a few weeks to allow you to get a feel for the material, understand the test format and become more aware of the jargon common to the LSAT.
Also, the fact that the LSAT programs you are thinking about registering for are unaware of the sheer folly of beginning the course with a diagnostic exam should be a HUGE red flag.
The data have been out there for years.
Your LSAT score is probably the most important component of your law school application. Pick a prep program that actually knows what the BLEEP it is doing.
For more information about MY program (and I sure as $hi # know what I am doing), feel free to IM me, or, better still, give me a call at 786-333-7909 so we can set up an initial meeting to discuss that LSAT, law school applications and the particulars of my program.
I hope to hear from you soon!

Dear Parents of Rising Juniors:
It is July 7th. The PSAT for students in the Class of 2028 is THIRTEEN WEEKS AWAY and the overwhelming odds are that your rising Junior is NOWHERE CLOSE to being prepared for the exam. The PSAT is a tremendous opportunity for students to gain National Merit recognition and to reap the admissions advantages that such status confers. Let's help your sons and daughters take advantage of that unmatched opportunity.
I keep harping on this, but it is undeniably (and, tragically) true:
COVID left HUGE gaps in some essential areas of math - things like percents, rates, ratios and factoring. These skills are ALL OVER the PSAT. They are vital skills, skills your Sophomore will need on ANY standardized test they take next year or the year after.
Stanford University (which has studied the academic impact of COVID more thoroughly than any institution on the planet) estimates that your rising Juniors are ALMOST ALL (yes, ALL) a FULL YEAR behind where they should be in basic math. Yes, they can understand functions and proofs, but most of them struggle with factoring, rates, percents and fractions. Seriously, some of these kids treat fractions the way medieval villagers treated lepers: avoid, avoid, avoid.
But, fret not. I would never point out a problem without offering a solution: let's get your rising Juniors into a test prep program EARLY - LIKE NOW.
Let's help them close the math gaps (and grammar gaps- some of these kids, again, through ZERO fault of their own, have NO IDEA what to do with a semicolon) that emerged during COVID.
Let's help them build their skills and their confidence at a manageable paceāone that reflects the reality of where they are versus where they need to be.
LET'S GIVE THEM A REAL SHOT A NATIONAL MERIT RECOGNITION, because National Merit recognition is largely the product of one thing: EFFORT.
Once again, I am ALWAYS eager to speak with parents, students, coaches and counselors about the irrefutable benefits of beginning SAT/ACT prep early.
My number is 786-333-7090. Feel free to share it because you will be doing your rising Juniors graders a solid.
Best,
SEAN

ATTENTION Pre-Law Students and Aspiring Attorneys:
DO NOT LET PROCRASTINATION AND DELAY DERAIL YOUR LAW SCHOOL AMBITIONS!!!
Perhaps the single biggest mistake students make in studying for the LSAT is the easiest to fix: waiting too long to being preparing for the exam.
Cramming for the LSAT in two or even three months is a recipe for disaster. Just don't do it.
Delaying late summer or (worse) fall will inevitably result in a score that is far lower than you are capable of ... which will inevitably result in having to pay far more for law school than you would have had to pay had you started earlier ... which will inevitably result in student loan debt that is far greater and will take far longer to pay off had you started earlier.
The time to start preparing for the October LSAT is NOW!! Not in August. Not after your summer vacation ... NOW!!!
I have a class (BOTH ONLINE AND IN PERSON) targeting the October/November exam dates that starts on July 12.
If you are serious about LSAT prep and serious about getting into a top law school (and paying as little as possible for the privilege), then ask me for the specifics of my course.
The clock is ticking. Your competitors for seats at the best schools and for merit aid gearing up to prepare for the and OCTOBER exams. You should be too.
We have assisted more than 1500 students prepare for the LSAT and select the law school that best suits their professional ambitions. Our students attain an average score of 166 on the exam, and more than 200 have exceeded 170 on the exam.
If you are interested, please IM me or give me a ring at 786-333-7909 to reserve your spot.
ENROLL NOW BEFORE ALL SPOTS ARE TAKEN (because they are going to be taken).
Best,
