This year’s awardees join a growing community of scholars advancing innovative research on Cuba and its global diaspora through the holdings of the Cuban Heritage Collection at the University of Miami Libraries.⁣

The CHC Short-Term Research Grants support U.S.-based graduate students, faculty members, and independent scholars conducting research in our collections by helping offset travel and accommodation expenses for research visits lasting one to three weeks.⁣
