As a physical therapist, I love reminding families that movement isn’t just exercise. It’s one of the biggest contributors to healthy motor development, balance, coordination, and lifelong confidence in our bodies.

So instead of another item on your summer to-do list, think of these weekly challenges as simple invitations to move, laugh, and make memories together.

A – 5 Arm Circles
B – 5 Bunny Hops
C – Crab Walk 10 Steps
D – Dance for 20 Seconds
E – Elephant Stomps x 5 per leg
F – Frog Jumps Γ— 5
G – Gallop Across the Room
H – High Knees Γ— 20
I – Ice Skater Jumps Γ— 10
J – Jumping Jacks Γ— 10
K – Kick Front & Back 5 Each Leg
L – Lunges Γ— 5 Each Side
M – March in Place Γ— 30 Seconds
N – Nose-to-Knee Marches Γ— 10
O – Obstacle Course Lap
P – Plank Hold Γ— 20 Seconds
Q – Quick Feet Γ— 20 Seconds
R – Run in Place Γ— 30 Seconds
S – Squats Γ— 10
T – Toe Touches Γ— 10
U – Up-and-Downs (sit to stand) Γ— 10
