Lila Marie Burcham

Lila Marie Burcham passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at StoneRidge of Farmington. She was born on May 21, 1927 to the late John Earl Trainum and Dollie Russell Trainum.

A graduate of Middleton High School, Lila dedicated her life to her home and family. Lila found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved sewing, quilting, fishing, growing beautiful flowers, and collecting unique rocks. She especially enjoyed listening to bluegrass music and looked forward to attending Pickin' on the Square. Above all, Lila treasured time spent with with her family making lasting memories.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Huie Burcham, Jr.; son-in-law, Don Taylor; sisters, Esta Lee Lamberth and Billie Bullard; and brother, John Earl Trainum, Jr.

Lila is survived by her daughters, Corinne Pryor (John) of Columbia, SC, Nancy Stults (Tommy) of Memphis, TN and Cathy Taylor of Counce, TN; two granddaughters, Heather Paulus (David) of Ft. Smith, AR and Holly Turner (Daniel) of Germantown, TN; four great grandchildren, Emma Paulus Donoho (Aidan), Luke Paulus, Julia Paulus and Lila Turner; brother, Jerry Trainum (Judy) of Pocahontas, TN; sisters, Bonnie Williams of Overland Park, KS and Elaine Capshaw of Middleton, TN; and brother-in-law, Karey Burcham.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 12pm until 3pm at Memorial Funeral Home followed by Graveside Services at Farmington Baptist Church Cemetery at 3:30pm

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Hardin County TN District 3 Emergency Response Services (PO Box 3 Counce, TN 38326) or Farmington Fire Department (P.O Box 1147 Corinth, MS 38835).

Margaret Mitchell Ross

A Celebration of Life service for Margaret Mitchell Ross is set for 2:00 pm Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Clement and Bro. Ron Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family and friends Gathering will be Sunday from 12:00 to service time.

Margaret died July 1, 2026, at NMMC Iuka, she was born November 12, 1937, in Corinth, MS. to the late Luke and Ector Dunn Mitchell. A member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, she was a homemaker, who enjoyed watching NASCAR, Atlanta Braves, and the Kansas City Chiefs. She was know to her family for cooking, especially during the holidays, listening to Gaither Gospel Music and her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ross; daughter, Tammy Ross; her parents; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Janette Tyson (Gilbert) and Shirley Cobb (Leo).

She is survived by her nieces, Janet Tyson Turner (George), Donna Cobb Ozbirn (Darnell); nephew, Greg Tyson (Cathy); special niece Anna Turner; special nephew, Daniel Ozbirn and a host of other nieces and nephews.
