How blessed am i to live near ! The Independent Picture House is hosting a film series in partnership with The series is called Chiaroscuro and so far it’s off to a great start. .en.regalia treated me to the first showing of Citizen Kane (his favorite film) and my first time seeing it. Not only was the movie great but the theatre is beautiful too and decorated with all sorts of fun items. My favorite being the fact that they paid homage to The Manor Theater (RIP). The bathrooms are wallpapered in old newspaper from the Charlotte Observer movie times section (such a fun idea). If you haven’t made it over there yet — you really should! I even was able to eat a popsicle while watching the movie. Popsicle > Popcorn in my opinion.
