🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America 🇺🇸
Today we celebrate more than a birthday.
We celebrate freedom, sacrifice, service, and the enduring strength of the American spirit.
At Operation Helo, we have witnessed the very best of this country — neighbors helping neighbors, strangers becoming family, and communities rising stronger after unimaginable loss.
That is America.
That is freedom in action.
As we honor 250 years of independence, we also honor the men and women who have served, protected, and sacrificed so we can live free.
May we never take that gift for granted.
From all of us at Operation Helo — Happy Fourth of July, and God bless America. 🇺🇸🚁

Texas, we have not forgotten.
One year ago, devastating floodwaters changed lives forever in the Texas Hill Country.
Some missions never leave you.
Our mission in Texas is one of them.
First responders ran toward the unimaginable. Pilots launched without hesitation. Volunteers left their own families behind to stand beside complete strangers.
Operation Helo was honored to answer that call in Burnet County alongside extraordinary local, state, and federal partners. In the middle of devastating loss, we witnessed the very best of humanity. Neighbors became family. Strangers became teammates. Hope found its way through the darkest days.
For many families, the journey did not end when the floodwaters receded. Some are still searching for answers while carrying a loss no family should ever have to endure.
Today, we hold those families close in prayer. We honor every first responder, pilot, volunteer, and partner who answered the call, and we remember every life forever changed.
At Operation Helo, we remain committed to serving communities in crisis and ensuring no one feels forgotten.
May God continue to wrap His arms around every family, every responder, and every community still carrying the weight of that day.
God bless Texas. ❤️

At Great American State Fair, you expect to meet incredible people… but sometimes you get a sweet potato with a passport. 😂🥔
One guest asked if he could use a NC sweet potato as his passport, and after getting it stamped at every station, he proudly returned to show us the final result.
Proof that a little humor, creativity, and fun can make unforgettable memories. 🇺🇸
Also… we may have just witnessed history: America’s first officially well-traveled sweet potato.

One of the best parts of being at the Great American State Fair has been meeting so many incredible people, and yesterday, some four-legged heroes stopped by our booth. 🐾🇺🇸
We had the honor of meeting this amazing group of service dogs in training with Leashes of Valor. Safe to say they were a crowd favorite! 💙 ❤️
Dear Supporters and Followers of Operation Helo,
Silence is not usually our style when clarity is needed. Because so many people have questions, and because Operation Helo’s name continues to be tied to this situation, we believe it is important to address it directly.
What was supposed to be an incredible weekend celebrating America’s 250th birthday unfortunately turned into a weekend of defense and clarification for our organization.
We want to be absolutely clear:
Operation Helo’s video did not contain a Confederate flag or Confederate imagery. There were no Operation Helo slides featuring a Confederate flag.
The image circulating online came from third-party video content displayed on the booth television, not from Operation Helo. Unfortunately, because our logo was positioned directly beneath that television, many understandably but incorrectly assumed the content belonged to or was endorsed by Operation Helo.
It did not.
We also want to clarify another point of confusion: Operation Helo did not sponsor, fund, or financially contribute to the North Carolina booth in any way. We were honored to be invited to participate as a featured North Carolina nonprofit in recognition of our humanitarian work.
It has been deeply disheartening to watch an organization built on compassion, service, and helping neighbors in crisis become associated with something that does not reflect who we are.
Operation Helo exists for one purpose: to bring help and hope to those in need. We serve all communities with compassion, dignity, and respect.
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to share the truth.

Today was a moment we will never forget. 🇺🇸
Operation Helo was deeply honored to participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
As America approaches its 250th birthday, we were humbled to represent generations of service and sacrifice that helped shape this nation.
Representing Operation Helo in today’s ceremony were an Active Duty Army service member assigned to JIATF-401, a retired Marine Corps veteran of the 3rd Marine Division, and two grandchildren of a U.S. Army officer from the legendary 101st Airborne Division.
Together, we laid a wreath in honor of those who gave everything for our freedom — especially those known only to God.
The precision, discipline, and reverence displayed by the soldiers of The Old Guard (3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment) were extraordinary. Their sacred duty continues 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The ceremony concluded with a moving 21-gun salute — a solemn reminder of the price of freedom and the legacy of those who served.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Lt. Michael Paisley and all who made this unforgettable honor possible.
May we never forget.
A moment of honor. A moment of remembrance. 🇺🇸
Today, Operation Helo had the profound privilege of participating in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
In silence, reverence, and gratitude, we honored the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom — especially those known only to God.
Some moments cannot be fully captured in words… so we invite you to take a moment and watch.
May we never forget. ❤️🤍💙
