Did you know that exercise actually has the least impact on your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure)? Thatโs why it is so important to incorporate strength training into your routine and build lean mass. Proper strength training for hypertrophy is doing 3-6 sets of 2-4 strength exercises working a specific muscle group with 6-10 reps of about 75-85% of your 1 rep max. This will increase your basal metabolic rate which has the greatest overall impact of your TDEE.
