Tell me why my local CVS thought it was a genius idea to decorate their Christmas tree with empty vaccine vials. Like… who signed off on that? I walked in and instantly felt disturbed. Out of all the decorations in the world, they chose medical waste. A pharmacy. During the holidays. Make it make sense.
It blows my mind that this is somehow “normal” now, like we’re supposed to smile and take cute photos next to a tree covered in used vials. I don’t care what anyone says, that’s not creative, it’s not festive, it’s just strange and uncomfortable. If anyone should know better than to turn medical leftovers into ornaments, it’s literally the place that gives you your prescriptions. Honestly, the whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth.
