Zoe Rosenblum, a WRGP alum, was awarded the 2024 Council Fellowship by the AGS. Congrats Zoe!

We are proud to announce that CEOAS Ph.D. student Zoe Rosenblum has been awarded a 2024 Council Fellowship by the American Geographical Society, one of four awarded nationwide. Her fellowship will support interview costs for her project, “Getting into the reeds: exploring the depths of transboundary wetland governance.” Rosenblum says, "This work aims to uncover best practices and remaining gaps for sustainable wetlands governance, given the substantial loss of wetlands throughout history as well as the important role wetlands play in mitigating climate change and building community resilience."

Established in 2013, each recipient receives a $2,000 award for their graduate research project. AGS will recognize the four Fellows during its annual Fall Symposium, Geography 2050, to be held November 21-22, 2024 in New York City.

Congratulations, Zoe!
