SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: The Voice Season 29 Runner-up, Liv Ciara, Appearing Live for Celebration Concert

Singing sensation and St. Peters native, Liv Ciara, fresh off her runner-up finish on Season 29 of NBC’s The Voice, is set to return to where her professional musical career started in Cottleville. On May 21, the singer will appear at Piazza Messina for a special event during their regular Thursday evening Sunset Sips series. The show starts at 5:30 with a live performance of songs from the show and Liv’s new EP, titled OUT LOUD, as well as an exclusive meet-and-greet, and menu specials inspired by the singer. The show is free, but seating is limited, and reservations are required.

Liv Ciara began her professional musical career at Piazza Messina as a solo act at 13, performing many times during the Family Fun Night summer series. Soon after, Liv joined her father’s band, longtime St. Louis favorite, Groovethang, and also performed her first wedding at Piazza Messina.

“It seems only natural to celebrate Liv’s successful journey on The Voice at the place where she launched her musical career,” said Justin Stewart, Liv’s dad and Groovethang bandmate. “We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate Liv with her hometown fans,” Stewart added.

Liv Ciara appeared on Season 28 of The Voice but didn’t get a chair turn from the judges. The teen singer didn’t let that stop her; she returned for Season 29 and selected Kelly Clarkson as her coach. Liv was crowned runner-up on April 14th and expressed gratitude to all the fans who followed her journey.
