Coalition News - USDOT Awards $10M to I-290 Under Reconnecting Communities Program 01/10/2025

Illinois has received a $10M grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to fund the Reconnecting Independence Boulevard: I-290 Land Cap project. This project will help restore connections severed by I-290 and repair the historic Chicago Park Boulevard System.
