IUOE Local 150

Yesterday at the IIPD Board meeting, Richard Hernandez, a QSL worker on strike, spoke out about the ILA meeting. Workers on strike were invited to attend, but when they arrived, they were all turned away. As they left, they turned around and saw QSL supervisors laughing at them.

These are the same workers who have been on strike for over 13 months, fighting for safety, respect, and the right to choose their own union. The NLRB has found merit to allegations of unlawful coordination between QSL and the ILA.

Shame on QSL for turning workers away and mocking them.

After beginning his legal career at IUOE Local 150 as a Law Clerk in 2007, Rob earned his degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, including a certificate in Labor and Employment Law. Today, he serves as Local 150’s Associate General Counsel, bringing a unique blend of military experience and legal expertise to his role.
