Collections stay on your credit report for 7 years but most people don’t know that when you pay a collection, it can restart the clock on that debt.
For example, if you’ve had a collection on your credit report for 6 years and decide to pay it, the collection will remain on your credit for another 6 years.
You might as well had left it alone.
What should you do ?
Dispute them , Dispute them, Dispute them.
