Covington - Ga. Lions Club

We wanted to let you know of some changes for this year’s Christmas Parade. After too many years to count, the Covington Lions Club is stepping aside from running the parade. We are very excited that the City of Covington will be the main ones organizing the parade this year. In the past, we have partnered with the city for the parade, so we expect a very smooth transition. And who knows what new and exciting things may come down the line in the years to come.

Registration will open Tuesday, September 2, 2025 for this year’s parade (the day after Labor Day.) Go to the the city's website to register starting Sept 2. We will post a link on our page closer to that day. The parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10 am.

For this year we will be working closely with the city personnel to ensure that the parade is a wonderful event for our community. We have loved organizing the parade for so many years, and we thank you for your years of support and efforts to make your floats and entries so memorable.
