Copperhead Mud Motor

Our Story

Married for 37 years, Gil and I have always been risk takers looking for a new challenge. Starting our own construction company in our early 20’s with 3 small children and many years later manufacturing the first line of lower HP true surface drive mud motors. Our hobby was racing. Gil started racing go-karts at 9 years old, then moved onto 3 wheeler’s and open wheel modified’s. Our kids also raced go-karts, dirt bikes, 4 wheeler’s and BMX with both of us being their coach’s and pit crew.

Copperhead was just a natural next step for Gil. He took all his years being a championship racer and instilled his knowledge into the mud motor world. This knowledge has given the hunting and fishing community the missing link to reach deep into the marsh’s and back waters. Limiting out has never been this fun!
