Fellow Ronin,
Our ability to continue to offer training as we have in the past in Covington is no longer sustainable. We are still working on a solution to continue in that location, but have not presently been able to find a workable path forward and may not be able to with the extended closure and new limitations for fitness centers. Without a solution, we have decided to suspend operations and have cancelled all memberships.
King County is still in Phase I of re-opening. Gyms are not allowed to re-open until Phase III, and even then only with extremely limited capacity and regulations that will severely limit our ability to cover the overhead and not take away from what makes Ronin unique. With this extended closure, and limited operations once we can re-open it is not likely we will make it. To re-open, it will require a complete overhaul of how we operate and classes/memberships may look entirely different than it was in the past. For this reason, we have cancelled all memberships and can not offer any guarantee that we will be able to reopen in Covington.
Ronin will continue to offer training in the pursuit of being Authentically Fit but like many businesses we will have to adapt to the changing environment we are now in. We will keep posting content on social media: training for the quarantine, new videos, at-home workouts, outdoor events, and new opportunities within the COVID business guidelines as soon as we are able. Keep an eye on our Social media pages for the latest updates.
Thank you for almost 10 amazing years. Ronin was founded in winter 2011 and has been what it was because of all the members that made it a special place. A place full of joy and love; suffering and hard work; a place where we shared amazing successes and spectacular failures all while getting fit, having fun, and learning new skills.
Thank you for sharing your lives with us. We will forever be grateful.

Making this decision has been agonizing and was not made lightly. We spent a lot of time reflecting back on all the years, from training outdoors and in a bare bones warehouse to the one of a kind place that it became and all the crazy adventures that happened in between. If you'd like to take a trip down memory lane with us, we made a slide show to see all the changes over the years. It was a lot of fun to make and hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it. Here's to unforgettable memories.

Warning: It's long! (10 minutes). It was a challenge to capture each year in a handful of photos and we did our best. Apologies to anyone we missed!
**Edit - we have been asked how you can support us. If anything on our social media resonates, please share with your friends and ask them to follow us for future training**
