Sica Piano Studio

The piano pedagogy community has lost a giant. I was privileged to learn from Mr. Blickenstaff’s courses and seminars, both online and in-person, and his teaching continues to shape my studio today. I still teach his “Engine, Engine #9” as the very first piece for my beginners! Beloved by colleagues and students alike, his legacy will live on through generations of teachers and students.

So honored to join a wonderful Masterclass with internationally acclaimed pianist & teacher, Artina McCain ,hosted by Salvosa from the Concordia Arts and Music Academy! Noemi performed beautifully and soaked up Dr. McCain’s insights so well. Noemi is always very eager to learn and we’re so grateful for this special opportunity—thank you, Dr. McCain and Dr. Salvosa!

Congratulations to Abraham on a wonderful Senior Recital! 🎓🎶 His passionate and expressive performances of works by Chopin, Beethoven, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and more were a joy to hear. It was especially meaningful to see him include his siblings and best friend in ensembles—even recreating a performance they did together 10 years ago! Abraham also showcased his impressive accompanying skills. It warms my heart to see him share this milestone in front of such supportive family and friends and to be celebrated by them. It’s been a joy to teach him, and I have no doubt he’ll continue to make music a part of his life. Bravo, Abraham! 👏👏👏
