I was proud to join dozens of my colleagues and the RI Working Families Party at the State House yesterday to introduce the Fair Share for Rhode Island agenda—a package of bills to make sure the wealthiest Rhode Islanders finally pay their fair share so we can invest in healthcare, education, childcare, and food assistance.

At a time when Trump and Republicans are cutting taxes for billionaires and big corporations while sticking working people with the bill, we need to fight back.

As Democrats in Rhode Island, we have the opportunity to show what it means to lead on our values and fight for working people like this moment calls for. It’s time to put our money where our mouth is.
