One year ago, our community lost a bright and beautiful soul far too soon.
Pahal’s light, laughter, and love for the water touched everyone who knew him. His absence is felt deeply every day — but so is his impact.

The Pahal Project is a living tribute to his spirit. Our mission is to ensure every child, regardless of background or ability, can learn to swim, feel safe in the water, and experience the joy he knew so well.

Over the past year, we’ve turned sorrow into action:

This movement began with Pahal Pal. His story sparked something powerful: a statewide effort to ensure children with limited abilities and their families have access to adaptive swim lessons regardless of financial ability along with inclusive training, and family support.

Last year, 9-year-old Pahal Pal, a bright and joyful child with autism, tragically drowned in a neighbor’s pool. In his memory, we launched The Pahal Project—a grassroots nonprofit adaptive swim initiative.
