It's time for one of our favorite community traditions... the Annual Rib Eating Showdown between Citrus County Fire Rescue and our friends at the Citrus County Sheriff's Office!

🏆 CCFR is the defending champion, and we're hungry to keep the trophy where it belongs! 😄

Join us today at Texas Roadhouse in Lecanto for a great meal while supporting the CCFR & CCSO Scholarship Fund, which helps local students pursuing careers in public safety.

ROAD CLOSURE - VEHICLE FIRE - HWY 41/N LECANTO HWY

Citrus County Sheriff's Office and Citrus County Fire Rescue are currently on scene of a vehicle fire located on Hwy 41 (N Florida Ave) near the intersection of N Lecanto Hwy. At this time, lanes are closed in both directions. Please avoid the area and take an alternate route if possible as first responders work to clear the scene.
