Please join us in congratulating Hugh Harris on his retirement from the Alabama Farm Credit Board of Directors. Hugh was appointed in 2014, as the first director to serve in his appointed outside director position. He brought decades of legal experience, knowledge of real estate and land markets, and the perspective of a lifelong farmer.

During his time on the Board, Hugh served as Chairman of the Compensation Committee from 2015-2025 and represented AFC on several committees, including the FCBT Stockholders Advisory Committee, Nominating Committee, and TDFCC.

Hugh’s leadership, knowledge, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our Association, and his contributions will be greatly missed. We thank Hugh for his years of service and commitment! We wish him all the best.

From great food and fellowship to meaningful conversations and connections, the evening was a wonderful celebration of the people who make Alabama Farm Credit strong. We were grateful for the outstanding turnout and appreciate everyone who took the time to join us.

A highlight of the evening was recognizing our Together We Grow Scholarship recipients and celebrating their achievements alongside their families. We were also proud to host our first-ever Together We Grow Silent Auction, which raised more than $1,700 to support future scholarships, thanks to the generosity of our members, sponsors, and supporters.
