Project Warm up Atlanta

It’s that time of year again!!!! We are actually a few weeks late getting started, but with the overwhelming amount of support we get each year we have complete confidence we will be able to help many many folks.

For those of you that might not be “in the know”, my family operates a legit 501-3c known as Project Warm up Atlanta. With the help and support of numerous friends, co workers, volunteers, various organization’s we have spent the past decade packing enclosed trailers full of warm clothing/sleeping bags etc and heading down to Atlanta on Thanksgiving to “warm up” those in need. It’s truly amazing to see the appreciation from so many good people who have fallen on hard times in their lives and know we are making a small difference in their life.

If you would like to help support our mission we are happy to accept donations now through Monday November 25th

You can drop donations off at Vengeance Racing located at 241 Castleberry Industrial Drive, Cu***ng Ga or at our home residence. Please message me for address if you do not have it already.

PLEASE limit donations to coats/jackets/gloves/hats/shoes/socks/hygiene kits/toiletries/warm clothing. We accept donations for men, women and children of all ages. New OR used items are appreciated.

This not an opportunity to clean out your closets and purge bikinis/underwear/summer clothing etc. Please help us be as efficient as possible by sticking to the outlined items above.

We go shopping a few days before Thanksgiving and post pics & video of all items purchased from your generosity.

One of the many keys to a happy/successful life is surrounding yourself with good people. I try to do this in both my personal and professional life. I am fortunate to have the folks in this picture in both. Phil Beniamino is a personal friend of mine. He is also the owner of Cost Plus Processing LLC and has handled Vengeance Racings credit card processing for nearly a dozen years. We became friends after doing years of business together as he has always been great to me and treated me extremely fair in an industry that it is very easy to be taken advantage of.

Phil called me the morning of Thanksgiving and asked me if I could meet him at my shop. He explained he was on his way back from Atlanta with his family and that they had taken warm food/clothing etc and spent time talking with folks lifting their spirits and warming their souls. He wanted his family to meet me and tell them about Project Warm Up Atlanta and a bit about my childhood.

I of course obliged and wanted to thank them for their efforts as well. Little did I know that they had an overly generous surprise for me. After we were done talking Phil’s son Rocco presented me with a check for $2500.00 to go toward PWA!!! I was completely floored, but also honored as this money will help SO many people!!!
