🔧 Project Spotlight: Perspire Sauna Studio – Draper, Utah

At Pyra IXI, we're proud to provide the full MEP design for the new Perspire Sauna Studio in Draper, Utah, near Salt Lake City — another milestone in our effort to expand Pyra IXI's engineering services nationwide.

This project came with unique technical challenges. Our team had to:
🌡️ Design an HVAC system that manages high humidity while separating the heat zones created by individual sauna rooms.
💨 Balance performance and aesthetics — carefully positioning diffusers to ensure optimal airflow and comfort.
⚡ Optimize electrical load calculations within site constraints to power all specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
🚰 Plan plumbing systems that are fully functional yet discreetly integrated to maintain a clean, spa-like environment.

Each detail was engineered with precision — reflecting our team's commitment to delivering smart, efficient, and elegant MEP solutions across the country.

🍞🔥 BAKE SMARTER, NOT HARDER 🔥🍕

At FIRIN Bakery & Pizzeria, we kneaded the ideal environment—literally—so your croissants fluff just right (and your pizzas crisp without turning into charcoal). That’s where Pyra IXI stepped in with MEP wizardry. 🧙‍♂️

Here’s what went down behind the ovens:

💡 Lighting vs Humidity — Too bright or too dry? Your dough will sulk. Too humid? You get soggy crusts. We struck a delicate balance so your loaf can rise confidently.

🌫️ Humidity Control — We designed the HVAC systems to maintain that Goldilocks zone: not too wet, not too dry, just perfect for fermentation and baking.

👤 Human Comfort = Happy Bakers — Because if your bakers are shivering or sweating, they’re not focused on perfecting your focaccia. Ergonomics, airflow, and temperature control all play a role.

🧩 Integration = Magic — All systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) talk to each other. A moisture sensor sees you sneaking a bite and adjusts just enough 😉.

In short: the secret ingredient isn’t extra yeast — it’s engineering finesse.
